Find out how much Dropbox storage you have, how much is left, and how to get more free storage.
I've used Dropbox to not only share and store personal files, but also to organize and safeguard my business.
Since I've been using it for so many years, I found a way to find out how much Dropbox storage I had left in my account.
The amount of space you have depends on the plan.
You can check how much storage you have left by going to settings > plan from your Dropbox dashboard.
You can see that I'm using 405.27 GB of 2.02 TB of storage.
Dropbox has a
- Free Plan
- Plus Plan
- Family Plan
Dropbox has a basic, free plan that gives 2GB of storage for one user that you can access anywhere.
document scanning, shared folders & links, 3 HelloSign eSignatures/mo, passwords, 30-day file recovery, version history.
For $9.99/mo, the Dropbox Plus Plan offers all of the above +
2 TB (2,000 GB) of storage, smart sync, mobile offline folders, priority email support, + more.
This is the plan I have.
At $16.99/mo the Family Plan includes pretty much everything from the Plus Plan, but it includes up to six users.
Earn storage for referrals. For every friend who installs the Dropbox desktop app for any plan, earn 1 GB.
Your friend will also get 500 MB.
