I’m a certified teacher with a Master’s Degree in Education and have taught (in both public and private schools) and tutored for many years.<
I believe people learn best when information is relevant, interesting, and interactive.
My students develop a growth mindset in math since I provide an atmosphere where they feel confident and successful. In class and during tutoring, I give my students the tools they need to face obstacles, persevere, and overcome challenges. We use mistakes as learning opportunities, discuss big ideas, make connections, and learn to be problem solvers.
I have experience teaching both in person and virtually. During the spring, while we were all quarantined, I used technology to help make math fun, relevant, and interactive.
With the uncertainty in the upcoming school year, I’m offering a variety of sessions to help students build a solid math foundation, supplement coursework, or complete a full math course.
