Cranberry Apple Crisp with Lots of Crisp – Recipe

Recipe for Cranberry Apple Crisp with Lots of Crisp
One of my favorite desserts is cranberry apple crisp. Because of this, I will find any excuse to make it. Normally, I make it on Thanksgiving, but anytime is a good time for cranberries, apples, and oatmeal. I even eat it for breakfast. Here’s one of my favorite recipes for Cranberry Apple Crisp with Lots of Crisp. The best part (to me) is the topping, so this recipe has a lot of the “crisp”. If you don’t like so much of the topping, then you can always make half of it.
Cranberry Apple Crisp with Lots of Crisp Recipe
Ingredients:
12 oz package of cranberries
2 large apples thinly sliced
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp vanilla
1 cup flour + 1 Tbsp flour (I use regular flour, but you could use wheat flour instead)
12 Tbsp melted butter
8 Tbsp brown sugar
3 cups old fashion oats
Inside – First, mix cranberries, apples, sugar, cinnamon, 1 tsp vanilla, and 1 Tbsp flour in a large bowl. Then, grease the baking dish and add all of the above.
Crisp – First, melt butter in a cup and add 1 tsp vanilla. Next, in a large bowl (I use the same bowl as above once I’ve put the inside mix in the baking dish), mix butter and vanilla, 1 cup flour, brown sugar, and oats.
Then, sprinkle the crisp over the fruit.
Finally, bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.
