Butters Restaurant Scottsdale Review
During a family road trip, we stopped for breakfast at a highly rated pancake restaurant in the Phoenix area. Below is my restaurant review of Butters Pancakes and Cafe in Scottsdale, Arizona.
As a somewhat last minute decision, we decided to road trip to San Diego over Christmas break. The drive from Austin to San Diego is 18 hours, so instead of driving the whole way in one day, we opted to stop in Phoenix for a few days.
Phoenix is a little bit out of the way, but we wanted to go a new-to-us city and avoid staying in Tucson.
One of my favorite types of restaurants are breakfast and brunch spots. So, I’m always searching for top rated breakfast restaurants during our travels.
After a colleague of my husband recommended Butters Pancakes and Cafe and I read the rave reviews on Google and saw the expansive menu, we decided to give it a try.

Butters Restaurant Menu
On the menu, there a range of choices for breakfast, lunch, and kids’ meals. For breakfast, Butters has a variety of pancakes, french toast, waffles, eggs, omelets, scrambles, skillets, Benedicts, specials, healthy options, and sides. The lunch menu has burgers, wraps, sandwiches, and salads. Kids 12 and under have meal options such as mini cakes, French toast sticks, one egg meals, grilled cheese, and chicken fingers.
On the menu, there are also an assortment of juices, smoothies, teas, coffees, milks, and soft drinks.
The four of us loved the food we ordered. The corned beef hash topped with 2 eggs was delicious. All of the skillets are served with pancakes or toast. I opted to upgrade to a specialty cake, the blueberry danish. Yum!
The menu, food, and coffee all reminded of Snooze AM Eatery, one of my favorites. So, if you like Snooze, you’ll probably like Butters too.
