Breast Cancer – Reconstruction after Double Mastectomy

At the age of 31, I was diagnosed with breast cancer and had a bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction. For my reconstruction, I had tissue expanders and then breast implants. In order to help others, I made a breast cancer video about breast implants and reconstruction after a bilateral mastectomy.
Reconstruction after a Bilateral Mastectomy – Breast Cancer Video
In order to help other breast cancer survivors, here’s a video I made to help other women or families of women facing breast cancer and mastectomies.
Reconstruction After Mastectomy
Many women elect (if able) to have reconstruction following the mastectomy. The reconstruction process can vary from person to person. In the video, I share my experience with reconstruction after a bilateral mastectomy for stage 1 breast cancer (expanders to breast implants). If you know of anyone facing breast cancer, then please pass along this video.
