9-years! My 9-Year Breast Cancer Survivor Cancerversary
9 years! On this day, 9 years ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer. 9 years ago, I wasn’t sure I’d see our 1 and 3 year-olds go to kindergarten or that I’d reach my 40th birthday. Those first few days were so scary, all I knew was that I had cancer, and we weren’t even sure it was even breast cancer. We had to wait a few days to get more details. What a rough weekend!
Here I am! Not only did I see both kids go to kindergarten and my 40th birthday, but I have also been able to experience so many wonderful things over these last 9 years. I am grateful for this extra time to do all of the things I enjoy and spend time with the people I love. Thank you all for your support over these last 9 years.
